BlueG was founded in January 1999 in England, UK. The company was formerly known as Frontier Developments, established in September 1990 as a software house primarily involved in the development of applications for the design industry.

In November 2008, BlueG announced the release of Visual Explorer - an Internet browser, designed to provide web users with everything they need for fast, smart and secure browsing in a single unified solution.

BlueG is the trading name of GlobalCAD Consultants Ltd.
